About Alalux

Timeless lighting for modern homes.

At Alalux, we believe lighting is one of the most overlooked details in a home, and one of the most powerful. It’s about more than being able to see. It’s the mood a room keeps after dark, the warmth of a quiet corner, the comfort of a well-lit evening.

Our Story

Alalux was founded on a simple idea: good lighting should never be an afterthought. Every piece in our collection is chosen to bring calm, character and craftsmanship into everyday spaces, from a wall light that softens a late evening to a sculpted fixture that gives a hallway its glow. We believe a home should feel considered, not decorated in a rush.

Our Philosophy

  • Simplicity with substance: clean lines and honest materials over unnecessary detail.
  • Considered materials, lasting design: metal and acrylic, chosen for how they perform and endure, not just how they look on day one.
  • Built to stay: pieces meant to outlast trends, not follow them.

Craft & Materials

We select every light for its materials as much as its design, from metal details to smooth acrylic diffusers that spread a soft, even glow. Done properly, lighting becomes part of a room’s architecture, not just an accessory placed inside it.

How We Work

We believe in being upfront about how we operate:

  • Who we are: Alalux is an independent online store offering a curated collection of modern, minimalist lighting for the home.
  • Product selection: every product is chosen for its materials, light quality and long-term durability, not just how it looks in a photo.
  • Sourcing and logistics: to keep prices fair, products are shipped from our partner fulfilment network.
  • Quality process: every order is checked before dispatch to make sure it matches what was ordered.
  • Shipping: free standard delivery across the UK, typically 3 to 5 business days, with tracking on every order.
  • Returns: 30-day returns and exchanges with a free prepaid return label.
